Maheshwari family of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is in a joyous mood as they are awaiting the birth of Varsha and Shaurya’s baby. The family has organised a puja to mark the happiness along with the celebration of Teej (a Marwadi festival). The ceremony will have all the family members dance and croon to a number composed especially for the show.
Says Varsha, ‘’As you know, we never introduce Bollywood songs on the show but score fresh songs for different sequences. This time again we have come up with a special song which is sure to enthrall and impress the viewers. The tune is catchy. I have fallen in love with the song. It’s a small puja ceremony along with Teej celebrations, wherein Singhania and a few other relatives have been invited. All the family members actively participated in the dance performance. I too wanted to join them but couldn’t for obvious reasons.’’
Talking about going-to-be bua, Akshara, Varsha says, ‘’We have grown up together so its a very strange feeling for her. She is on cloud nine to know that her sister-in-law who is her friend is pregnant. She is clueless about how to express her pleasure and happiness.’’
